Getting there
Cadillac Mountain Summit, Acadia National Park, ME 04609
Get directions →Buy two different things
The Acadia entrance pass covers entry to the park. The Cadillac vehicle reservation is a separate $6 timed entry for the summit road. It is sold online, not at the park, and reservations are released in two waves: 30 percent 90 days ahead and 70 percent two days ahead.
A reservation gets you through, not into a space
The summit has 145 spaces and no oversized-vehicle spaces. A valid vehicle reservation does not assign a specific parking spot. Park only in designated spaces, do not re-enter after leaving, and do not cross the road to use a space on the opposite side.
Check the vehicle length before booking
Vehicles longer than 21 feet, including bike racks and hitch attachments, plus RVs and trailers, are prohibited on Cadillac Summit Road. The road is narrow and has no Island Explorer service, so a reservation cannot rescue the wrong vehicle.
